2012 Hitting School

Camp Highlights

• Each camper will receive a camp bag and water bottle
  
• Campers will be placed in small groups for more individual and personalized instruction
  
• Each camp will feature the Defiance College Coaching Staff and members from the baseball team
  
• Camps will feature many teaching aids including a batting cage, toss nets, tees and other hitting aids
  
• Youth League and High School Coaches are welcome to attend free of charge

About the Camp

This is perfect preparation for the upcoming season and includes six total hours of hitting instruction on consecutive Sundays. By enrolling in the Hitting School you will receive extensive instruction and practice. Each camper will do a complete series of drills that will focus on proper technique and fundamentals of hitting.

To ensure correct information, please register each child individually.

Special Cost: All three sessions $80.00 *If you can’t attend all (3) sessions you can sign up for individual session. Additional Family Member Discount: The first camper from your immediate family pays full price – all additional family members can deduct $10 from tuition (Discount is for same camp only) -

 Add $10.00 for walk-up registration.

What to Wear: Baseball pants or sweatpants, sweatshirt, t-shirt, baseball hat and athletic shoes

Equipment you should bring: Bat and batting gloves for Hitting School and Hitting Camp; glove for Instructional Camp and Pitching/Catching Camp. Catchers should bring their own equipment if possible.
