2022 Pitching / Catching Camp

Camp Information
This camp will include three instructional hours of drills, demonstrations and lectures about the fundamentals of pitching. Catchers will receive instruction on receiving, blocking and throwing techniques.

Grades: 3rd - 12th Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Cost: $40 per Person $50 for walk-up registration

Multiple Camp Discount: If a camper attends more than one camp a $10 discount will be given for (1) additional camp. Multiple Camper Discount: The first camper from your immediate family pays full price – all additional family members can deduct $10 from tuition Note: Discount is for same camp only

What to Wear
 Baseball pants or sweatpants, sweatshirt, t-shirt, baseball hat and athletic shoes (NO CLEATS)

Equipment You Should Bring
Bat and batting gloves for Hitting School and Hitting Camps; glove for Baseball Skills Camp and Pitching/Catching Camp.  Catchers should bring their own equipment if possible

Camp Highlights

• Campers will be placed in small groups for more individual and personalized instruction
• Each camp will feature the Defiance College Coaching Staff and members from the baseball team
• Camps will feature many teaching aids including batting cages, toss nets, tees and other hitting aids
• Youth League and High School Coaches are welcome to attend free of charge
